After a short time together the Mumlers entered a contest to play a new indie music festival called Bleeding Edge that took place at a beautiful venue called the Villa Montalvo.
It was amazing and we got the opportunity to record for a week with Brett Allen of SnowGhost studio in Whitefish, MO. We wanted to use this opportunity to record the basic tracks for our first full length record so we packed two vehicles full of gear & backpacks to drive from sunny california to snowy Montana.
Long story short, Brett was rad, the studio was AMAZING and we did what we set out to do. I learned to play pedal-steel guitar that week. 10/10 would do again. This was our first release with Galaxia records.
